Technical Project Manager

Role purpose

Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex integration anddigital transformation initiatives, with particular emphasis on MuleSoft, B2Bintegration solutions. The role connects business outcomes, technical deliveryand stakeholder expectations, ensuring projects are governed effectively anddelivered predictably across scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk.

What you will own

·   End-to-end project delivery from initiation anddiscovery through planning, execution, release, transition and closure.

·   Integrated delivery plans covering milestones,dependencies, resourcing, environments, testing, cutover and operationalreadiness.

·   Governance across scope, schedule, budget,quality, risks, issues, assumptions, decisions and change control.

·   Coordination of cross-functional teams includingarchitects, developers, integration specialists, QA, DevOps, security,operations and business stakeholders.

·   Client-facing communications, steering updates,status reporting and timely escalation of delivery risks and decisions.

·   Technical delivery alignment for MuleSoft APIs,integrations and B2B interfaces, working with engineering leads to managedependencies and delivery constraints.

·   Resource and capacity planning, vendorcoordination, financial tracking and forecast-to-complete management.

·   Quality gates, release readiness, cutoverplanning, hypercare and structured handover to support or managed servicesteams.

·   Continuous improvement through retrospectives,delivery metrics, lessons learned and reusable project controls.

Essential experience and capabilities

·   10+ years of project management experiencedelivering complex enterprise technology programmes or projects.

·   Demonstrable experience leading MuleSoftdelivery, including API-led integration and B2B integration initiatives.

·   Strong understanding of the software deliverylifecycle, integration delivery, testing, release management and productiontransition.

·   Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams,third parties and senior stakeholders in a matrix environment.

·   Strong command of project planning, estimation,resource management, financial control, RAID management and change governance.

·   Ability to challenge technical teamsconstructively, translate technical constraints into business impact and drivedecisions to closure.

·   Excellent written, verbal, facilitation andclient-facing communication skills.

·   Hands-on experience with delivery andcollaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Smartsheetand modern document collaboration platforms.

Preferred qualifications

·   PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Scrum or an equivalentrecognised project management or agile delivery certification.

·   MuleSoft certification or meaningful deliveryexperience working with certified MuleSoft architects and developers.

·   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Engineering, Information Systems, Business or a related field, or equivalentpractical experience.

·   Experience delivering projects in regulated,security-conscious or globally distributed environments.
