Job Title: Mobile ADAS Technician

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Fully Expensed Company Van

Location: Covering Cornwall - flexible on where you live as long as it is in Cornwall (Mobile Role)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (No Weekends and No call-outs)

Job Type: Full Time | Permanent

Our client is a leading provider of ADAS calibration, programming and vehicle electronics services to the collision repair sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Mobile ADAS Technician to cover the Cornwall region, within a well-established team.

The Role

Working from a fully equipped company van, you will visit Bodyshop’s, Dealerships and Repair Centres to carry out ADAS calibrations, vehicle diagnostics, coding, programming and electronic repairs. You'll play a key role in ensuring vehicles are repaired to manufacturer standards and returned to the road safely.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out static and dynamic ADAS calibrations.
Diagnose faults on camera, radar and sensor-based safety systems.
Perform ECU coding, vehicle programming and software updates.
Complete fault finding on vehicle electrical and communication systems.
Conduct pre- and post-calibration inspections.
Interpret manufacturer repair methods and technical information.
Maintain accurate job records and documentation.
Deliver high levels of customer service while representing the company professionally.
Adhere to Health and Safety PPE regulations.

Requirements

Experience as an ADAS Technician, Diagnostic
Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, coding and programming.
Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
Experience using manufacturer and aftermarket diagnostic equipment.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Ability to work independently in a mobile role.

Ideal Background

This position would suit a qualified/experienced Motor Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, Auto Electrician or MET Technician from an Accident Repair Bodyshop looking to develop a career in ADAS. However, full training will be provided for candidates with strong diagnostic and electrical skills.
