As an Armed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. This driving post requires operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policies. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and innovation.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public response agencies as directed by established procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain awareness of restricted areas, and report irregularities according to site procedures.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, patrol documentation, and other required records in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card/license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
