Summary
Assembles chassis, racks, and top assembly units by following drawings, procedures, manufacturing instruction operation sheets, BOM's and ECN's with minimal to no aid of lead or supervisor
Responsibilities:
• Daily assembly of racks, chassis, and top assemblies
• Aid other assemblers as required
• Fill out any associated paperwork such as configuration control travelers
• Train other assemblers as needed
• Ability to work from Engineering Drawings, BOM’s, and work instructions
• Identify component symbols and have excellent soldering skills
Education/Certification:
• High School Diploma or equivalent; AA degree preferred
• IPC 610 Solder Certification
• J-Standard
Experience:
5+ years’ experience in the wiring of chassis, racks, or related electro-mechanical assemblies
Special Skills:
• Required to lift approximately 50 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of computers and their use in manufacturing
• Knowledge of basic hand tools, torque tools, and hand crimp tools
• Proficient in English comprehension and expression; including reading and writing
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and products up to 30 pounds. In addition, the following Personal Protective Equipment is required:
• eye safety glasses
• hearing protectors
• work boots
• hardhats
• facemasks
Working Conditions:
Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
7:00am -3:30pm, typically. Willingness to work overtime (after hours and weekends) as needed.
Our good faith estimate of the hourly rate range for this role is $24.79 to $34.82. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base pay, we offer a highly competitive benefits package.
